I have lived in Whitegrove since 1994 so have seen many changes to our local area over the years. I have 3 children who attended (and still attend) local schools and I was a Governor at their Primary School for 20 years, a role which I found very challenging but rewarding.

I enjoy walking in our local area, we are so lucky to have places like Cabbage Hill, Larks Hill, Whitegrove Copse, Frost Folly and Westmorland Park on our doorstep and within walking distance of where we live. I wanted to join the Parish Council to preserve these wonderful open spaces and to give something back to the local community I live in and like being a School Governor, it is a role I find challenging but rewarding. I am looking forward to working with the Parish Council to bring a new Community Hub to the residents of Warfield Parish whilst maintaining current Parish facilities.

My wife, Jennie, and I have lived in Bracknell where both our girls were educated, for over 40 years, moving to Warfield seven years ago.
I was elected to Bracknell District Council in 1983 and held the position of Chairman of from 1985 until I stood down in 1991. During my Chairmanship I oversaw the creation, opening of several of our countryside parks, the design, build and opening of Coral Reef and the Look Out Discovery Centre.
It is my hope that my wide range of experiences will enable me to contribute to the safety and wellbeing of all of us who live work and relax here in Warfield.
I retired from ICL/Fujitsu in 2002 having worked for the company for 35 years, the last 15 of which were as a Commercial Manager negotiating software acquisition and/or services contracts in the US, Europe, and UK. Prior to that I worked in various managerial positions, encompassing strategic planning, sales, marketing, quality control, project, and finance accounting.
I returned to Bracknell Forest Borough Council in 2000 as Vice Chairman of Leisure. In 2002 at the invitation of the Leader I became the Executive member for Leisure (later to become Culture) and in 2005 added Corporate Services and in 2007 Public Protection to my portfolio.
During my time as an Executive member, I continued to champion leisure, both active and passive.
I had the pleasure of overseeing several of our parks, including Westmoreland, the achieve National Green Flag status. I also chaired the design and refurbishment of Coral Reef and its reopening by the Countess of Wessex.
I have served on several committees; amongst others I chaired the Town and Parish Liaison Group and was a board member of RE3 the refuse collection tripartite arrangement with Reading and Wokingham.
As a Bracknell Town Councillor, I oversaw the design, build and opening, on time, to specification, and budget of the Great Hollands Community Centre.
I have served as a school Governor at Brakenhale and Bracknell and Wokingham College.
I have been Chairman of Berkshire East Police Committee, Vice Chairman and subsequently Chairman of Thames Valley Police Authority.

I have lived in Whitegrove for nearly 30 years and have seen our community grow throughout that time. Through my role as an elected Councillor on Bracknell Forest Borough Council and Warfield Parish Council, I have gained an insight into the community of Warfield.  For relaxation, I enjoy gardening, the delights of dog ownership and spending time with my family.

My ambition for the Parish Council is that we work with all residents in Warfield to make this a great place to live and work. I am particularly interested in ensuring that we do all we can to tackle climate change, promote biodiversity in our green and open spaces and make sure that we provide for the community great community facilities that are environmentally friendly, sustainable and flexible in their use.  As Warfield grows, I also want us to support people of all ages and interests. Warfield is a great place to live and I want to keep it that way.

I am a Governor of a local Primary and Secondary School which further helps with my knowledge of the local area.  As we look to a post COVID-19 future, more than ever, we need to work as a Council to support community groups re-establish and promote good emotional wellbeing and positive mental health in our Parish.

There are many challenges in the years ahead, but working with my fellow councillors, I am sure we can make a positive and enduring difference to Warfield.

I have lived in Whitegrove since 1995. A founding member of Warfield Environment Group in 2002, I have remained an active committee member. I was a successful fundraiser for the Parents’ Associations at Whitegrove Primary School then Garth Hill College (my daughters attended both). I want to see the Council delivering great projects and services to residents, on-time and to budget, and the environment at the heart of everything we do. With 4 years as Deputy Clerk at the Council, and 10 years in Information Technology, I believe I have the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to make a difference in Warfield.

I have lived Warfield for nearly 40 years and have been a parish councillor for 28 years. My son was here and attended the local schools. I have been involved in planning since before the Whitegrove and Quelm homes were built and have endeavoured to make sure that all developments are built to a high standard with green spaces and parking and will continue to do this. Working with previous members of the council we took over the management of the Brownlow hall to refurbish it into a lovely usable building and worked to bring the Whitegrove Community Centre under our control. I am passionate about making Warfield the best place to live with a great community spirit and environment.

It is such an honour to have the opportunity to continue representing Warfield as a Parish Councillor and deliver important initiatives for our residents. My family and I love to go out exploring the many outdoor spaces, so I am especially keen to make sure we do everything we can to keep play areas safe and accessible. Like my fellow councillors I am highly focussed on raising our voice with the Borough Council to limit development in Warfield wherever possible. We have a really exciting challenge ahead to deliver a new community hub over the next few years and I am looking forward to being a part of that process. We are always learning from each experience and I hope we will hear more from residents about what you want and how we can improve over the coming years.

I am a new member of the parish council and hope to bring young and fresh ideas to the committee. Being 22, I hope to be an approachable face to children and young adults, I want to be the person they can express their thoughts and opinions to, especially surrounding the new and exciting community hub. Having lived in Warfield my whole life, I have grown up with a sense of community in the village and want other families to have that, whether they are old or new residents.

I have lived in Warfield for nearly 30 years and have been a parish councillor for half of those. The area has changed greatly and as it moves forward it is vital that we influence the development for the benefit of residents old and new. For that reason my interests are planning, green spaces, infrastructure and the very exciting delivery of a new multi-million pound community hub, the biggest project the parish has ever taken on. You will find me most evenings and weekends making use of the new green spaces by walking the dog and enjoying our wonderful parish.

I have lived in Warfield since 2009 and joined the Parish Council in March 2017. I am married and have two primary school aged children. I am employed as a headteacher. In my spare time I play hockey and enjoy walking and cycling.

My main motivation for being a Parish Councillor is to help to retain, develop and enhance local facilities and services, in particular green spaces, so that Warfield continues to be a great place to live and bring up children. During the next 4 years, I will be working to ensure the Parish Council:

- Invests in local facilities, including the new Community Hub
- Supports local groups and activities to build a strong sense of community
- Preserves and enhances the local environment and open green space
- Takes action to combat speeding, fly-tipping and litter
- Promotes walking and cycling
- Is accessible, transparent and accountable

I live in Hayley Green, but have been in the local area for 21 years. I love the semi-rural aspect and being so close to the Green Belt and Hayley Green Wood. Originally from the South East of France and close to the Pre Alps, I am an enthusiast of anything outdoor which is probably why I care very much about the environment and our green space. I have a strong interest in wildlife and the natural habitat and will be working towards enhancing what is in the parish and trying to reduce the negative aspects on the environment.
My hobbies include running, cooking, gardening and cycling and I often ride from my home to my work in Egham. I have been a parish councillor for four years and look forward to the challenges ahead and being involved in the new community hub.

I have lived in the Warfield area since 1994. This is my first term as a parish councillor. I am chair of Warfield Environment Group and also actively participate in the award-winning Jealott's Hill Community Landshare. I love all things to do with gardens, do a bit of community gardens judging, paint water colours (badly) and practice yoga to keep the aches and pains at bay.  I recently retired from a senior role in Information Technology after 34 years and have the time, passion and organisational skills to help the parish council deliver the best services and events for Warfield's community. My particular areas of interest are better communication with residents, allotment provision, preserving and enhancing the beautiful green spaces of Warfield and making sure we can deliver a new community hub fit for use by all ages and abilities.
